Cali-Mom's Crochet Crafting Corner

Warming the world one blanket at a time

Home

Welcome to Cali Mom's Crochet Crafting Corner.

I've been crocheting for many years. As a teenager, I'd ride the bus to my Grandmother's house. We'd play canasta, drink lemonade and eat her homemade macaroni salad. While I played the piano, my grandmother would sit and listen, crocheting as I played. And, it was from my Grandmother, I learned to crochet and have carried those memories with me all these years.

A tradition that I started years ago was to make lap size afghan to give to people who come stay at our house. We've hosted a half dozen Japanese students, three German students, two French students and two Australian students. You could say my lap afghan's have made it around the world. It's a tradition I still carry on today.

The below song is the first song I learned to play many years ago. To discontinue the music, click below or go to a different page.
